Children portrait painting

Working on her using Photoshop cs3, drawing this for 3 n a half hours, doing  a research on her looks for more than 2 hours! (w'n')w (I never draw a kid before). I honestly like how her fringe looked like and for me it's really challenging part to work on. I was ever planned to try drawing a children face and.... I think she really look like a kid, isn't she? :3

This is pretty scary for me because the outcome really look like a..... horror old paintings (if it converted to BnW) or a passport photo. LOL

but ended up using grey...

And final render... Will trying to learn lighting and composition next....
